You talk to an independent remodeling provider in our network. These are local businesses. They are not employees of Yetdeserve Remodeling. We do not list staff names or bios, because the provider you speak with is the one who would plan and do the work.

What Happens on the Call

The provider will ask a few simple questions. Expect them to cover:

• What room you want to remodel.
• What you want changed, such as a walk-in shower or new cabinets.
• The age and type of your home.
• Your timeline and household schedule.

They may suggest a home remodel consultation at your house. Request a callback to check provider availability in your area.

What to Ask a Provider

Good questions protect you. Write them down before you talk.

• Can I get a written quote before demolition?
• Who does the plumbing and electrical work?
• Are you licensed and insured? Can I see proof?
• Do you handle permits?
• How will you protect the rest of my home from dust?
• Which rooms and water shutoffs will I lose, and for how long?
• What happens if you find hidden damage in an older wall or floor?

Costs vary a lot by job. Typical U.S. bathroom and kitchen projects can range from a few thousand dollars to many tens of thousands. Only a written quote reflects your actual home.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask for more than one estimate. You can say no.

Do keep your own notes and photos. Do read the quote carefully. Do not sign anything you do not understand. Do not pay a large amount before the scope is in writing.

Before the Visit

A little prep makes the first meeting smoother. Clear a path to the room. Measure what you can. Gather photos of anything that worries you, like a soft floor, a stain, or a slow drain. Have a rough budget in mind, and share it if you feel comfortable.
